Cleaning up flooring glue.?

Just installed some floor tiles with flooring "cement". Really smelly stuff (like contact cement for models). I've finished, but the floor is sticky with glue residue. I've tried cleaning with paint thinner. It seems to be working but it's pretty noxious and there is a lot of floor to do. How can I clean up without knocking myself out on fumes?
