Iron residue from rug comes of on my blazer...any remedies to remove it?

Ok so my friend had her iron face down on her rug when she plugged it in and when she put the iron on my blazer a brown looking residue came off on the blazer. Of course the residue was from the rug. I put it in the cleaners twice and they were unable to get it off..when I scratch the residue it seems like it wants to comes off..,does anyone have any ideas or remedies for this...
